CASSIE DUFFY, AMFT, APCC

Therapist

Cassie’s (she/her/hers) deepest intention is to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and curious space where you can explore and truly get to know yourself. As you cultivate this same openness and kindness towards yourself, you may gain deeper insight into how your past shapes your present, how you engage in relationships, and how you find meaning and purpose in the world. In Cassie’s work with couples, she uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to uncover the deeper emotions beneath conflict, creating a safe space to access and share vulnerable feelings that strengthen connection. She also incorporates The Gottman Method for targeted interventions that support relationship growth and stability. With children and adolescents, Cassie provides a grounded presence to support their emerging identities, helping them explore emotions, develop coping

skills, and navigate life’s challenges. Cassie is also trained in Brainspotting - a powerful therapeutic approach that helps clients access and process deeply stored trauma and other strong emotions by utilizing eye positions connected to the brain’s processing centers - which can facilitate healing, emotional regulation, and deeper self-understanding. While fostering self-awareness is at the root of Cassie’s practice, she also aims to empower clients to cultivate resilience, take action in their life, and to live in alignment with their values. Cassie is supervised by Karen Malbon, LMFT
